As a Production Operative, you will work as part of a shift team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We value self-motivation, reliability, and accuracy in our employees. You should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, ensuring maximum productivity and safety standards.
We offer a comprehensive training and development scheme, providing real opportunities for you to enhance your skills, knowledge and earning potential. Candidates with at least two years experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment will be considered. Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in written and spoken English are also required. Physical fitness and the ability to handle manual tasks and lifting are also necessary.
Salary
Starting salary: £23,000-£30,000 per annum (dependent on position, skills, and previous experience)
Monthly pay with overtime opportunities

Hours
The Company generally works on 3 x 8-hour rotating shift pattern (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm /10pm-6am) or a continental pattern with some fixed holidays.
Key Responsibilities
Operating CNC automated machinery to produce mattress pocket spring sheets
Utilising manual and touchscreen methods to change specifications
Conducting product testing and calibration as part of the quality assurance process
Recording, analysing and comprehending test and production data
Reviewing and understand work processes and technical documentation
Meeting strict planning deadlines
Following high quality standards and operating procedures
Essential Skills
Passion for manufacturing and producing top-quality products
Ability to accurately follow company procedures and verbal instructions while maintaining safety
Excellent timekeeping and reliability
Strong organisational and housekeeping skills
A positive and proactive attitude, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficient numeracy skills and a good command of written and spoken English
Awareness of health and safety practices and relevant legislation
